Conference Venue

The conference takes place at the Mathematics Building of TU Berlin, Straße des 17. Juni 136, 10623 Berlin in rooms MA001 and MA005.

Public transportation near the venue:

  • U-Bahnhof Ernst-Reuther-Platz a 5 minutes walk from the venue, served by underground train line U2 and various bus lines
  • S-Bahnhof Tiergarten a 8 minutes walk from the venue, served by city trains S7, S5, S75
  • S-Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten a 13 minutes walk from the venue, served by various bus lines, underground and city trains

Arriving by train

Berlins central station Hauptbahnhof is only a 5 minute train ride (trains S7, S5, S75) away from the venue and very well connected to the public transport system.


Arriving by plane

Berlin offers two airports, which are also very well connected to the public transport system.
Schönefeld is located approximately 18km from the city centre. The airport is served by the city train lines S49 and S9, which take 30 minutes from/to Hauptbahnhof, 35 minutes from/to Tiergarten.
The train station of the airport is called "Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld".
Tegel is located approximately 8km from the city centre. It can be reached by the bus lines 109 and 128, the JetExpressBus TXL, which connects the airport to Hauptbahnhof in 20 minutes, and the ExpressBus X9, which takes 20 minutes from/to Zoologischer Garten.
The train station of the airport is called "Flughafen Tegel".


Travelling in Berlin

Other Information

Please note that the Internationales Deutsches Turnfest (international german gymnastics festival) will take place in Berlin on June 03-10, which can affect the traffic and public transportation.
On June 11 the annual Sternfahrt (bike star ralley) will take place in Berlin, which is going to be quite near the venue. Further information will follow if there are going to be traffic closures or restrictions on the public transport.
